Make it

It all began with an idea. In December of 2022, three Rivian employees were leading a team to create the software and pricing for Rivian’s charging network know as RAN (Rivian Adventure Network). Seeing first hand the difficulty of building charging infrastructure and software on a global scale, they realized there must be an easier way. They didn’t think it was fair that charging access was limited to large corporate networks. It quickly dawned on them, why not design software to share existing residential EV charging infrastructure and allow hosts and consumers to benefit from the hundreds of thousands of EV chargers already installed around the globe.

This simple idea led to the start of ChargeHost, a peer2peer charging network which allowed EV owners to rent out their existing EV charger to other EV owners.

By February 2022, our founder had taken the idea and build the ChargeHost application. He began to socialize the application and found hosts willing to test out the service. He focused on gaining hosts through Multi-family residential properties.

Currently, ChargeHost is looking for Series A funding in hope to expand their network nationwide.
