2. Create a Charging Property
ChargeHost’s can have as many chargers listed on our network as they have charging stations. Simply input the Address and a photo of the parking spot and EV charger users will reserve.
3. Set your desired electricity billing rate
During set-up you will include your EV charger power output, connector style and brand.
Set the dollar amount you want to bill customers for utilizing your charger ($/kWh). You can include a parking fee as well, minimum number of charging hours required as well.
Note: In order to make profit on your charging sessions you should look at your local utility bill to see how much energy costs in your area, then increase that amount to your desired price.
4. Accept Charging Reservations
Once your charging station and property is set up on our network, users will be able to request to book charging sessions at your home. Reservations will be sent to you via the app and will provide detailed information about the user, time, date, vehicle and duration of the charging session requested. Once approved, ensure your driveway and charger are ready for your guest.
